Carports and pergolas in Ballarat

Local carpenters building pitched pergolas, carports and verandahs across Ballarat and central Victoria. Engineered footings, straight posts and a tidy finish, with a free written quote before we start.

What we build

Pitched pergolas

Hardwood or LOSP primed pine posts, pitched roof framing and Colorbond or polycarbonate sheeting. Built to sit under a barbecue, fridge and outdoor setting all year.

Flat and skillion pergolas

A lower profile option that ties neatly into an existing roofline, ideal for shading north and west facing windows and decks.

Single and double carports

Freestanding or attached carports with engineered footings, gable or skillion roofs and gutters plumbed into your existing stormwater.

Verandahs and bullnose rebuilds

Heritage bullnose verandah rebuilds with additional rafters and a row of noggins through the middle for extra roof screw fixings.

Common questions

How much does a pergola or carport cost in Ballarat?
Every build is priced on size, roof type, post material and site access, so we do not publish a flat rate. Book a site measure and you get a free written quote with a clear breakdown before anything starts.
Do I need a council permit for a carport or pergola?
It depends on size, height and how close the structure sits to your boundary. We check the requirements for your block and organise permit drawings and paperwork when they are needed.
How long does the build take?
Most single carports and pergolas are framed, roofed and finished within one to two weeks on site once materials land, weather permitting.
Which suburbs do you build in?
We build across Ballarat and central Victoria, including Wendouree, Sebastopol, Alfredton, Delacombe, Buninyong, Creswick and Daylesford.
